We are building resilient communities together. Here are some of our projects.
-
Gaza Solidarity Kitchen
Palestinians coming from Gaza during this holocaust still cannot get refugee visas to the US. Asylum paperwork and its accompanying work permits take time; meanwhile, there is rent due and living expenses to pay. We can’t wait for charity or for nonprofits to write grants specific to Gazan refugees, nor does that feel empowering. They deserve dignity and agency in the process of building a life here for however long they stay. Palestinians from Gaza are cooking traditional Palestinian foods to share with their new community for donations to secure a stable life in the Bay Area. Gaza-Bay Area Mutual Aid Collective brings it to the people!
-
Palestinian Stitch Story
Our dear friend brought the tatreez from her women's collective when she escaped the holocaust. She is now selling these beautiful handmade pieces plus new ones created by displaced women from Gaza who are in Egypt in order to send funds back to women in the collective for their survival needs. These pieces are treasures-- hundreds of women's stories and lives stitched into each.

Covo Coffee
Mohammedali worked hard to build his dream: Covo Coffee. Despite facing challenges in besieged Gaza, Mohammedali’s determination was unwavering. Tragically, his shops and supplies were destroyed during the war, yet like the resilient spirit of all Palestinians, Mohammedali seeks to rise from the rubble and continue his dream here in the Bay Area.
-
Mutual Aid Networks
We are building relationships with various Palestinian solidarity groups, locally and abroad. We are always building our networks and lists of resources. We hope that our efforts to connect and collaborate with other groups can amplify our impact. Whether you’re an “official” organization or a rag-tag group of friends, if you are doing work to support Palestine, we want to know you!
-
Palestine Solidarity Bazaar
We're hosting monthly bazaar events in Oakland where people can pick up Palestinian coffee, art, tatreez, crafts, Palestinian food, and more, all while building community and (we hope) new friendships. During this time our connections with each other matter more than ever.
-
Zeina's Family
Zeina is a bright light in our lives, shining from Gaza. She and her family have a pathway to leave Gaza when the borders open and start their lives over, but they need financial support to get there. Learn more about Zeina and her family and how you can lend material support.
-
Alaa's Family
Alaa left his family before October 7 for Germany to be a better support for them. He found himself stuck in Germany while his family is displaced over and over. He started a fundraiser to help keep them fed and sheltered and expanded it to include evacuation. Alaa has become a friend to us and we are working to send them support.
-
Local Mutual Aid Food Projects
Food connects us. We love to feed people, whether it's comrades up against the state, student encampments, people up early and ready to shut down a port, or people freshly released from jail-- we are into it. Learn more about mutual aid through food (and coffee) by clicking the button below.
-
Solidarity Bazaars at Jerusalem Coffee House
We're co-hosting monthly bazaar events with Jerusalem Coffee House in Oakland where people can pick up incredible coffee, art, tatreez, crafts, Palestinian food, and more, all while building community and (we hope) new friendships. During this time our connections with each other matter more than ever.
